What a week of drama! Adele, David's sister, got stuck at our house for a couple days longer than she expected when her husband Rich was delayed in Las Vegas. No, he didn't lose the house, but his friend George was hit by a bus. Literally- he was working as a security guard at a huge building project when a bus spun out of control and hit a concrete barrier, which then hurled into George and fractured several bones. Rich, my brother-in-law, is such a hero. He went to hang out with a buddy, and ended up organizing care for him for the next few weeks. He stayed for 3 extra days, and contacted George's family and friends to set up people to take care of him when he was released from the hospital. He finally got here on Monday, and they drove home Tuesday.
In the mean time, David's friend and employee Jerry had a massive heart attack last Sunday, actually 2 heart attacks that morning. Luckily, he was already at the hospital because of the first attack and had the massive heart attack on the table. He flatlined, and was brought back by the staff. If he'd had the big one at home, I don't think he would have survived. He's home now, recuperating, thank goodness. We went to the hospital Sunday morning for a while, and left Adele home. Anyhow, it was a challenging week for all of us, just in very different ways.

Hey Elaine, this isnt specifically about this blog...but it is a question. In your profile you spoke of the "50 things to do before I die" thing, but didnt list them. I think it would be a good idea. I think I will do it on my site too...maybe not 50 though...maybe start at 10. I did that before, and all but one I've now done. Need more.
I forgot my password for google, so Ill just sign my stuff.
