I remember when you called me out of the blue and told me that I was meant to live in Arizona and needed to move ASAP. I thought you were nuts but moved here anyways and met my husband and now have a beautiful daughter. Mother is always right!
Where to start...
I remember walking through that huge mall in Calgary with you, I had just turned 16, and you decided to start acting like a monkey. Jumping around like a damn ape...just to see if you could embarass me. Luckily, I learned at an early age not to embarass easily!
I remember being stunned and very proud when you stood up for me in the principal's office. I was in 6th grade and had laid into one of my teachers - completely justified! - I sat in the principal's office waiting for you to show up and I was nervous. But once you heard the story, you stood up for me! I remember thinking, "she really means it when she says it's important to stand up for what you believe in..."
